Halloween Is Here!

Boooo!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

This is my zombie hunting outfit. They can't get my braaaains while I am wearing it. I can't figure out why they haven't thought of that in the movies.
It works pretty well for polo too. I have been playing for quite a while now and I am thinking about starting a beginner's team near the Carbondale / Anna area. I am looking for a field to use. If you know of a good, flat, grassy space, let me know. This will be an opportunity to learn how to play and just have a good time. Without younger players, any sport will fade away, so young people are welcome! It helps if you are a good rider but is not essential. Anyone is welcome to try. I have a horse that is great for beginners.

It is a great time of year for doing outdoor portraits. The fall colors are coming on strong and the weather is wonderful! It is 74 degrees today! Call me right away to schedule yours. This is a good chance to get a really good shot of everyone, including the dogs and horses. I will be happy to bring out my portable lights, so that we are guaranteed to get a good outcome.

Adopt a Dog!

I have started doing some volunteer work for PAWS, Pets Are Worth Saving, in Anna, Illinois. I am providing photographic services in an effort to aid PAWS adoption effort. I will be posting a new dog or cat every week or so.

This is Hemi, a 5 month old pug. He is a nice little guy who could use a good home.

First Post For Me

Well... I finally decided to start a blog. I will use this space to keep you informed of specials and ideas. I will also use it just to tell you what I think. There will be promotions and discounts available here that you will only know about it you find them here.

Here are a few things coming in the immediate future.

I will soon start offering gift certificates. I think this is a great idea for you moms and grandmas to assure that you get the photos you want and need of your kids and grandchildren. I am planning to offer these in the very near future.

I am also planning a Thanksgiving and a Christmas special. So many families are only together a few times of the year. This is the perfect time to have a family portrait taken! You may want to have pictures taken for your Christmas card this year. I will do the photography and have your cards printed.

Now is the time to do outdoor photography! The skies are blue and the weather is wonderful. If you want special pictures of yourselves, your pets or you horses or all of the above, now is the time to do it! I have portable, battery powered, lighting so I can create very high quality images for you at any location.
